Job summary

Community Care Physicians' Schodack Internal Medicine and Pediatrics office is seeking a full-time LPN to join their team. This is a 40-hour week with hours Monday through Friday, 7:30am–4:30pm, offering a competitive hourly wage and a recruitment bonus of up to $3,500.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, documenting conversations, maintaining patient flow, preparing patients, obtaining specimens, and processing orders. NYS LPN license and EMR proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Experience as LPN in a medical practice or as MA/Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with EMR.
• Knowledge of nursing principles and infection control.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient records accurately.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate.
• Obtain specimens (urine, blood, etc.) as directed by the provider.
• Enter orders into the lab system accurately.
• Assist with clinical procedures (PFT, EKG, nebulizer, immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider instructions.

This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e. urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations).
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation

$26.00 - $33.00 per hour
