Job summary

Albany Family Medicine in Albany, NY is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team. This 40-hour-per-week position offers daytime hours from 8:00am to 4:30pm and a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Responsibilities include administering vaccines, entering data in EMR, maintaining patient flow, preparing patients for visits, and processing prescriptions. Compensation ranges from $26 to $33 per hour, with a comprehensive rewards package.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice or prior experience as a Medical Assistant or Patient Care Tech.
• Strong computer skills with experience using EMR.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Skill in appropriate assessment and assistance techniques.

• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Our Albany Family Medicine is looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team!

This is a 40 hour week. The hours are: 8:00am - 4:30pm

• This position is eligible for up to a $3,500 recruitment and retention bonus!!

• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
