Job summary

Community Care Physicians in New York is seeking a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to join the Family Medicine team. This 40-hour-per-week position focuses on vaccines, clinical support and efficient patient flow.

You will document conversations, enter data into the EMR, perform select procedures, and assist with testing and prescriptions under provider direction. A NYS LPN license and prior clinic experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid NYS LPN license.
• Previous LPN experience in a medical practice.
• Strong computer skills with EMR.
• Knowledge of basic nursing principles and patient confidentiality.
• Maintain strict confidentiality and discretion.
• Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
• Knowledge of infection control and environmental safety.

Our Community Care Family Medicine office is looking for a Full Time LPN to join their team!

This is a 40 hour per week position.

Responsibilities

• Administer and record vaccines.
• Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate.
• Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
• Maintain timely patient flow.
• Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office/provider requirements.
• Obtain specimens (i.e., urine, blood, etc.) from patients as directed by the provider.
• Accurate and timely order entry into the lab system.
• Perform clinical office procedures as directed by the provider (i.e. PFT, EKG, nebulizer, medication administration and immunizations)
• Process patient prescriptions.
• Discuss test results with patients per provider's instructions.

Compensation: $26.00 - $33.00 per hour
