Job summary

Interim HealthCare is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN/contract staffing in long-term care facilities and assisted living settings across our Sioux Falls, Brookings, and Fargo regions.

You will provide patient care under supervision, pass meds, monitor vitals, and support daily activities. The role offers pay rates of $40-$45+ per hour, paid weekly, with DAY, EVENING, and NOC shifts. Active SD or multi-state LPN license required; 18+.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license required (SD or multi-state eligibility).
• Current certifications and qualifications maintained.
• LPN experience in long-term care or home health preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Provide PRN and contract staffing support in long-term care or assisted living settings.
• Assist with daily activities and pass medications as directed.
• Monitor vitals and observe patient changes requiring care adjustments.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and care teams.

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) job duties may include:

• PRN and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living settings
• Aide with daily activities
• Pass medications
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals
• Observe patient for issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualifications:

• ActiveLicensed Practical Nurse (LPN)license withinSouth Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility
• Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experiencehighlypreferred
