Job summary

Interim HealthCare in South Dakota seeks Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN) for PRN, part-time, or full-time contract opportunities. Staffing in long-term care and assisted living, with shifts during days, evenings, or nights, typically 8/10/12-hour options.

Licensed Practical Nurse license is required in SD or eligible via reciprocity, with 18+ years old. Active state credentials and on-going certification are expected.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in SD or multi-state reciprocity.
• LPN license and qualifications maintained as per standards.
• LPN experience is highly preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• PRN and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities and/or Assisted Living settings.
• Aide with daily activities.
• Pass medications.
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises.
• Check vitals.
• Observe patient for care, medication, or equipment changes.

Education

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) job duties may include:

• PRN and/or Contract Staffing in Long-Term Care Facilities, and/or Assisted Living settings
• Aide with daily activities
• Pass medications
• Assist with ambulation, transfers and range of motion exercises
• Check vitals
• Observe patient for issues requiring a change in care, medication or medical equipment

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) qualifications:

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license within South Dakota, or reciprocity/multi-state eligibility
• Maintains required certification/qualifications and associated standards
• Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) experience highly preferred
• Must be 18 years of age
