Job summary

Personal Healthcare Management LLC is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse for the overnight shift in Downsville, NY. This full-time role features 12-hour night shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am, three days per week, with every other weekend. A sign-on bonus is offered and new pay rates are based on experience.

Qualifications

• LPN license/registration is required.
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience.
• Overnight shifts from 7:00 pm to 7:00 am.

Responsibilities

• Provides safe resident care, applying standards and policies, and staying current with updates.
• Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.
• Addresses age-specific needs in care and treatments.
• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care during shifts.
• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights and documents them.
• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift times.
• Cooperates with reassignments for resident care as needed.
• Reports care problems and potential solutions to nursing management.

We are currently seeking an LPNs for our Overnight Shift

• This position is full-time

  • 3-days a week

LPN-New Rate Starting at $35/hr Up To $35.50/hr "salary adjustment based on years of experience" w/Diff Eve $36.75/hr Night $36.60/hr

Functions

• Provides safe resident care, demonstrating knowledge and competency in completing assigned treatments and procedures according to established standards and policies. Maintains awareness of new updates standards and incorporates them into his/her nursing practice through out the continuum of care.

• Participates in the improvement process of quality resident care.

• Incorporates age-specific needs, provision of care, procedures, and treatments.

• Communicates pertinent resident information and plan of care before breaks, during transfer, and at shift report.

• Accurately administers medications according to the five rights of medication administration and documentation of same.

• Accurately performs treatments utilizing sterile or clean technique.

• Accurately administers external feedings.

• Completes resident care-related activities within scheduled shift time periods.

• Cooperates with reassignments made in the interest of resident care.

• Reports resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel.

• Delegates resident care problems and possible solutions to the appropriate nursing management personnel..
