Job summary

Ascension Healthcare in Avilla, IN, is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for night, full-time work at Sacred Heart Village in the Assisted Living department. You will deliver hands-on nursing care, administer medications, and monitor residents, while supporting RNs and maintaining resident safety.

You will work to build trust with residents and families, ensuring compassionate care in a long-term care setting. Required licensure and education are specified in the posting.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 month of hire date or transfer date.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse credential required.

What minimum requirements you’ll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Licensed Practical/Vocational Nurse obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
