Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assistance.
• Licensed PTA (IDFPR) required.
• BLS certification within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Educates patients, families, caregivers, students, and other health care providers using relevant teaching methods.
• Follows the therapist's plan of care and adjusts treatment based on patient response with documented communication.
• Produces documentation in the therapy EMR as per policy.
• Completes annual education for program requirements where applicable.
• Coordinates with PT and communicates progress to referring providers.
