Job summary

Remote Jobs is seeking a licensed Professional Engineer to lead FTTH network design and oversight. You will plan and engineer outside plant fiber routes, review construction drawings, and coordinate with field teams from concept through construction.

Ideal candidates have ABET-accredited engineering degrees, 5–10 years in fiber/telecom design, and proficiency in pole loading and permitting processes, while collaborating with stakeholders remotely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in at least one US state.
• 5–10 years of experience in OSP Fiber design or telecommunications engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design and engineer FTTH outside plant networks (aerial/underground).
• Prepare construction drawings, BOMs, cost estimates, and design docs.
• Review and stamp engineering designs; provide technical leadership and reviews.
