Job summary

HBK Engineering, LLC is seeking a Project Manager with telecommunications FTTH experience to lead outside plant engineering and design for utility clients. You will own delivery from route planning to permitting, accountable for schedule, budget, quality, and client relationships across multiple locations.

Responsibilities include directing OSP design teams, coordinating GIS/workflows, driving permitting with authorities, and managing project financials while mentoring staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 5+ years of project experience in telecommunications.
• FTTH project experience preferred.
• Underground fiber construction knowledge beneficial.
• Proven leadership and mentoring ability.
• Travel as required for project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead project teams of engineers and designers to deliver design and construction work on time and within budget.
• Direct design teams for OSP engineering, fiber assignments, and BOM preparation.
• Drive permitting through DOT, municipal, and railroad authorities.
• Manage contracts, cost estimates, and financial aspects of projects.
• Develop and mentor staff; provide QA/QC support and training.
• Travel to project sites and client meetings as needed.
