Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervisory experience preferred.
• Maintain Optical license where required (state-specific).
• Proficient computer skills and reporting abilities.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong communication skills for management of teams.
• Excellent customer service and problem-solving abilities.
• ABO and NCLE certifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance goals according to NVI standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted.
• Ensure store associates provide the highest level of customer service.
• Maintain awareness of same-day service using the Ready When Promised board.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager, and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Develop and maintain relationships with doctors; act as liaison between doctors and store staff.
• Ensure promotions, advertising and visual merchandising are in place; inform staff and doctors of current promotions.
• Supervise and motivate Optician/Sales Associates; ensure day-to-day functions are completed.
• Assist General Manager with staffing, recruiting and retaining a high-caliber team.
• Motivate staff to exceed performance standards.
