Qualifications

• Optical sales experience; supervising experience preferred.
• Maintain Optical license in states that require licensure.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Proven ability to lead, coach and build associate relationships.
• Strong understanding of store operations and standards for success.
• Strong communication skills for effective management of teams.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Able to present clear information to managers, staff and customers.
• Strong organizational skills for planning and monitoring progress toward goals.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems of varied scope.
• ABO/NCLE Certification.

Responsibilities

• Drive profit, sales and performance goals according to NVI standards.
• Monitor sales results against budgeted figures.
• Ensure all store associates deliver high level customer service.
• Maintain readiness of same day service board and reporting.
• Communicate with General Manager, District Manager and Corporate Office; provide store reporting.
• Develop relationships with doctors and act as liaison with store personnel.
• Ensure promotions and visual merchandising are in place.
• Supervise and motivate Optical staff and ensure day-to-day functions completed.
• Assist GM with staffing, recruiting and retaining high-caliber staff.
• Motivate associates to exceed performance standards.
