Job summary

Warby Parker seeks a skilled Optician to join our in-house optical team. You will take measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure products meet our quality standards while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will help customers understand prescription terminology, guide frame and lens choices, and collaborate with teammates to implement best practices across the store. Ideal candidates are licensed dispensing opticians or ABO-certified, passionate about eyewear, detail-oriented, and

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in licensed states or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator capable of explaining terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented with ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Not on the Office of Inspector General list of excluded individuals/entities (LEIE).

Responsibilities

• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with precision.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Assist customers in choosing frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Collaborate with team to establish best practices for sales and customer service.
