Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team and help customers find the perfect eyewear with expert measurements and precise fittings. You’ll explain prescription terminology, ensure product quality, and collaborate to elevate customer service across the organization.

Ideal candidates are licensed or ABO-certified, passionate about eyewear, and ready to thrive in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license or ABO-certified in non-licensing states.
• Passionate about eyewear and retail industries.
• Clear, effective communicator who can explain prescription terminology to customers.
• Detail-oriented and able to juggle a wide range of responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to help meet all of their eyewear needs.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with flawless accuracy.
• Check that eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with your team to create best practices for sales and customer service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, style, and lifestyle.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate others about our values and mission.
• Ensure exceptional service for every customer.
