Qualifications

• High School Diploma and State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience and HIPAA familiarity preferred.
• Minimum of one year as an Optician strongly preferred.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with eyewear selection, fit frames, and dispense lenses.
• Take and interpret prescriptions; create lab work orders for lenses.
• Educate patients on lens types, coatings, and care.
• Provide exceptional service, build clientele, and handle order status updates.
• Collaborate with technicians, front desk staff, and optometrists.
