Job summary

America’s Best, part of National Vision, is seeking a General Manager in Georgia. You will lead a store team, drive sales and profitability, and ensure exceptional patient care and service.

Responsibilities include operations, coaching, budgeting, and compliance with brand standards. You’ll partner with the Doctor to deliver high-quality eye care, supervise staffing and merchandising, and report to the District Manager.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retail management experience.
• Experience in optical industry preferred.
• ABO & NCLE Certification.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operations, staffing, inventory, bookkeeping, planning, and enforcing company policies.
• Lead, train, and develop associates through coaching and feedback.
• Monitor store performance and guide associates to deliver outstanding customer and patient experiences.
• Partner with the Doctor to ensure every patient receives the highest level of care.
• Conduct store audits and uphold quality, merchandising, and service standards.
• Maintain open communication with the District Manager and provide accurate reporting.
• Ensure the store and facility meet corporate and safety standards.
• Execute marketing, merchandising, and promotional initiatives per brand standards.
• Manage budgets, supplies, and inventory to meet financial goals.
• Recruit, hire, and retain top talent, creating schedules based on business needs.
• Lead by example toward sales and service excellence.
• Provide feedback and performance evaluations, while addressing issues proactively.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and maintain associate records.
