Qualifications

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in explaining optical products, services, the analysis and interpretation of optical prescriptions, fitting and dispensing.
• Strong communication and customer service skills; HIPAA compliance.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with frame and lens selection.
• Interpret prescriptions and coordinate with Lab and Optometrist to ensure accuracy.
• Provide accurate information on frames, lenses, and services; ensure proper pricing and insurance details.
• Maintain dispensing area cleanliness and organization; adhere to privacy policies.
