Qualifications

• Must have and maintain applicable state licensure for ophthalmic dispensing.
• Knowledge and demonstrated abilities in explaining optical products, services, the analysis and interpretation of optical prescriptions, fitting and dispensing.

Responsibilities

• Assist each customer in frame and lens selection while meeting social distance requirements.
• Provide customers with accurate information regarding frames, lens selections and other services.
• Inform customers about insurance benefits and any charges not covered by third parties.
• Utilize SERVE selling process to identify needs and recommend lenses.
• Communicate with Lab and Optometrist to ensure prescription accuracy.
• Sell, fit and dispense frames and accessories with accurate measurements and suitable adjustments.
• Maintain a clean, organized dispensing area and ensure proper pricing accuracy.
• Adhere to HIPAA and privacy policies and participate in required training.
