Warby Parker is seeking a licensed dispensing optician to join our Madison, WI team. You will measure, fit, and adjust eyewear while educating customers on prescription details and our products.

You’ll collaborate with colleagues to deliver exceptional service and ensure every pair meets our exacting standards. Ideal candidates are licensed or ABO-certified, with a passion for eyewear and a knack for clear, friendly communication.

Qualifications

• Must be a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified optician where required by state law.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain technical terms to customers.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy in measurements and fittings.
• Team player who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Work with customers to meet eyewear needs and guide selections.
• Take and record measurements, fit eyewear, and ensure precise adjustments.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with team to share best practices for sales and service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, and lifestyle.
• Represent Warby Parker brand and educate customers about our values and mission.
• Maintain exceptional customer service to leave customers confident in their glasses.
