Warby Parker is seeking skilled Opticians to join our in-house optical team. You will help customers meet eyewear needs, take measurements, and ensure products meet optical standards with precise accuracy.

As a licensed dispensing optician or ABO-certified professional, you will explain prescription terminology, assist with frame and lens selections, and collaborate to elevate customer service and brand education. This is a full-time, on-site opportunity.

Qualifications

• A licensed dispensing optician in states that require a license (or an ABO-certified optician in non-licensing states).
• Passionate about eyewear and retail.
• Clear, effective, and professional communicator—you can break down technical terms for customers to easily understand.
• Dedicated to going above-and-beyond to make customers and teammates happy.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs directly.
• Take and record measurements, adjust eyewear with accuracy.
• Ensure finished eyewear meets optical standards and customer requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers.
• Collaborate with your team to deliver exceptional service.
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, face fit, and lifestyle.
• Develop best practices for sales and customer service.
• Represent Warby Parker and educate customers about our values and mission.
