Job summary

Warby Parker seeks skilled opticians to join our growing in-house optical team. You will become an expert in our glasses, helping customers see with confidence while delivering exceptional service. You’ll record measurements, fit eyewear precisely, and ensure products meet our optical standards and customer requests.

You’ll explain prescription terminology, partner with a motivated team, and help customers select frames and lenses suited to their prescription, face shape, and lifestyle.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid licensed dispensing optician credential or ABO certification in non-licensing states.
• Strong communication and customer service skills with a focus on eyewear.
• Ability to explain prescription terminology clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Work directly with customers to meet eyewear needs
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with accuracy
• Ensure eyewear meets optical standards and customer requirements
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings to customers
• Collaborate with team to deliver exceptional service
• Help customers choose frames and lenses based on prescription, fit, and lifestyle
• Contribute to best practices for sales and customer service across the organization
• Represent the brand and educate customers about Warby Parker values and mission
