Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional service and expertly craft high-quality eyewear for our customers. You will provide accurate measurements, fit glasses precisely, and lead with optical knowledge while upholding brand standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

You will welcome customers, manage multiple tasks, and utilize iPad/tablet tools, POS systems, and calculators to ensure accurate transactions and a premium experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• State Licensure is required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener & team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills and ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers & calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses accurately.
• Lead with optical acumen and professional care.
• Take and record measurements; ensure eyewear meets standards.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology efficiently under time pressure with accuracy.
• Multi-task, prioritize, and manage competing priorities.
• Strive to meet Brand KPIs and competencies.
• Keep store appearance clean, attractive and organized.
• Report safety opportunities and practice safe work.
