LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver exceptional customer service and expertly fit eyewear. You will use detailed measurements, ensure prescription accuracy, and provide guidance on lens choices and frame selection.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• State Licensure in Opticianry.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service and selling skills.
• Knowledge of current eyewear merchandise.
• Basic math and measurement accuracy.
• Familiarity with POS and tablets.
• Adaptability to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead with optical knowledge and customer education.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear precisely.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Maintain accurate use of technology and tools under time pressure.
• Keep store clean, organized and well-presented.
• Support inventory management and promotions.
