Job summary

LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to deliver high-value eye care and expertly craft eyewear. You will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring precise measurements, proper lens fitting, and outstanding service in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires state licensure, optical dispensing experience, and strong math skills. You will work with modern tools, including an iPad, to support sales, fittings, and inventory while upholding LensCrafters’ commitment to

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State Licensure is required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills including listening and teamwork.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and place prescriptions in lenses.
• Lead in optical knowledge and service quality.
• Take and record measurements; adjust eyewear to meet standards.
• Assist team with product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology efficiently under time pressure to meet customer needs.
• Strive to exceed brand KPIs and maintain store appearance.
• Adhere to policies including discounts and inventory management.
