Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician in Maricopa, AZ to provide expert eyewear solutions and exceptional patient care. You will assist patients with frame selection, ensure proper measurements, and dispense lenses with accuracy and attention to fit.

You will interpret prescriptions, stay current on lenses and coatings, and maintain strong patient relationships while delivering top-notch customer service.

Qualifications

• State licensure as an Optician.
• High School or GED required.
• ABO/NCLE certification preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• HIPAA requirements knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings to fit prescription and lifestyle.
• Take and verify measurements, ensure proper lens dispensing and fit.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranties, and insurance coverage.
• Enter prescription information into EHR and ALE systems and communicate with technicians.
