Job summary

AEG Vision is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide expert eyewear solutions and outstanding patient care. You will help patients choose frames and lenses that fit their prescription, lifestyle, and personal style, ensuring proper fit and accurate lens dispensing.

The role requires interpreting prescriptions, updating the EHR/ALE system, and communicating with technicians and managers. This on-site position offers full-time employment with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• State licensure required.
• ABO/NCLE preferred but not required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• PC skills including MC Office, Windows, and Word Processing.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Delivers extraordinary experience to each patient, explaining customized recommendations.
• Assist patients in selecting frames, lenses, and coatings based on prescription and lifestyle.
• Interpret prescriptions written by Optometrist and Ophthalmologist and enter into EHR/ALE system.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and lens dispensing.
• Maintain product knowledge on lenses, frames, rebates, and warranties.
• Coordinate with technicians and managers for order status and issue resolution.
