Job summary

Qualifications

• State Licensure required.
• Optical dispensing experience preferred.
• HIPAA knowledge appreciated.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients in selecting eyewear and lenses based on prescription, lifestyle, and style.
• Ensure proper frame fit, accurate measurements, and correct lens dispensing.
• Maintain knowledge of products, rebates, lens types, and coatings.
• Communicate with technicians and managers about order status and issues.
• Educate patients on eyewear care, warranties, and insurance benefits.
• Enter prescription data into EHR/ALE and attach necessary documentation.
