LensCrafters is seeking a Licensed Optician to provide exceptional customer service, ensure precise eyewear fitting, and maintain the highest standards of optical care.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and accurately place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, adjust and fit eyewear with attention to detail to meet customer needs.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately under time pressure, demonstrating strong product knowledge and tool proficiency.
• Proactively explore root causes of issues, provide solutions, and exceed customer expectations.
• Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
• Maintain store appearance, cleanliness, and organization.
• Identify safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
• Show resourcefulness, self‑motivation, and a desire for continual learning and improvement.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales skills and ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.
