Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Use technology accurately and efficiently despite time pressure and customer volume, demonstrating exceptional product knowledge and using appropriate tools.
• Proactively explore root causes of issues, think forward, ensure customer satisfaction and exceed expectations; solution‑driven.
• Multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies.
• Take pride in store appearance, helping keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices.
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated, and committed to continual learning, improvement, and results.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

Basic Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Sales skills and the ability to use an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous customer service and retail experience.

Pay Range: 25.02 – 39.02 (salary determined by geography, experience, qualifications, skills, and local minimum wage requirements). Additional compensation may include a competitive bonus and/or commission plan that complements a first‑class total rewards package, which may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
