Job summary

Warby Parker is seeking an Optical Supervisor to join our team in New Jersey. You will rely on your optical expertise and customer-first approach to create outstanding experiences while helping open/close the store as a keyholder.

You will lead the Optical team, including the Apprentice Program participants, and ensure excellent service on the floor and in shop operations. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and focused on coaching a positive culture in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid dispensing optician license in the relevant state.
• ABO certification is preferred.
• Two+ years of experience with supervisory responsibilities in optics.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with eyewear needs and fittings.
• Take and record measurements with accuracy.
• Check eyewear against optical standards and requests.
• Explain prescription terminology and product offerings clearly to customers.
• Lead and mentor the Optical team and participate in apprentice programs.
• Maintain store systems and inventory databases.
