Job summary

BioLife Plasma Services is seeking a BioLife Medical Support Specialist - LPN to support plasma center operations at the Salisbury, MD location. The role requires licensing as LPN/LVN or RN and EMT- related credentials, with CPR/AED certification and clinical experience.

You will assess donor eligibility, manage adverse events, review lab results, and participate in donor communications under physician guidance.

Qualifications

• Must hold active state professional license/certification in responsibilities state (EMT-B/A/I/P, LPN/LVN, RN).
• CPR and AED certification is required.
• Two years of clinical or hospital experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Determine donor eligibility including informed consent, AIDS education and confidential self-exclusion.
• Review medical history, perform physical examination, and interpret SPE results.
• Manage donor adverse events and refer to Center Physician or Medical Affairs as needed.
• Support vaccination programs (Hepatitis B, Seasonal Flu) for employees where applicable.
• Ensure donor safety and eligibility following SOPs and transport donors in emergencies when needed.
• Assist with occupational health/ER processes and EHS guidance for incidents.
