Job Description

Must currently hold an active Life and Health General Lines License in your state of residence.

The Licensed Medicare Benefit Advisor position is available in all U.S. states except for AK, AL, CA, CO, GA, HI, NM, SC, VT, WA, WY.

Spanish/English bilingual speakers needed, but not required.

The AHB Benefit Advisor in Training IH is responsible for driving Medicare sales through professional and consultative selling of plan options in an inside sales environment. Opportunity may also exist for selling IFP (Individual & Family plans) and ancillary products.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Receive inbound calls from customers regarding health insurance options in 20-50 states.
  2. Assist with escalated customer issues.
  3. Provide a positive customer experience with excellent satisfaction scores.
  4. Meet sales and productivity goals regularly.
  5. Update customer files in CRM with interaction summaries.
  6. Participate in call center opening/closing procedures as part of the Aspire Carrier Team.
  7. Make outbound sales calls on various campaigns.
  8. Recommend plans and enroll prospects based on their needs.
  9. Quote, present, and close sales while overcoming objections.
  10. Follow up on your 'book of business' with outbound calls to prospects.
Essential Duties
  • Consult and educate seniors 65+ on Medicare plans over the phone.
  • Leads are provided; no prospecting required.
  • Answer questions on health insurance options.
  • Meet sales and productivity targets.
Certifications and Licenses Needed
  • Active General Lines L&H License in your state of residence.
Job Requirements
  • At least 1 year of sales or customer service experience preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and punctuality.
  • Ability to work independently and be accountable.
  • Proficient with multiple computer programs.
  • Reliable internet, dedicated home workspace, equipment provided by Allstate.
  • HS Diploma or GED required.
