Job summary

William R. Seide Agency is growing and seeking an experienced Licensed Service Agent to support clients with policy servicing and underwriting guidance.

You will ensure coverage needs are met, document interactions, and deliver exceptional service with a client-first mindset. The ideal candidate holds an active Property & Casualty license, 3+ years in personal/commercial lines or independent agencies, and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License required.
• 3+ years of Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or Independent Agency experience preferred.
• Independent agency experience preferred.
• High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience working with CRM and agency management systems.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a customer-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional client service and ensure insurance needs are met through standing service and attention to detail.
• Create and advise on personalized insurance proposals based on client needs.
• Provide professional consultations regarding client service needs.
• Maintain accurate workflow awareness and activity documentation in line with procedures.
• Process insured policy change requests.
• Follow up to verify endorsements processed by the carrier.
• Underwrite, rewrite, re-quote, reinstate, and cancel policies for insureds.
• Obtain underwriting information and supporting documents from clients for carriers.
• Document all client interactions in the agency management system.
• Obtain carrier signatures, forms, and applications as required.
• Process insured payments and review billing accounts.
• Update and maintain accurate client contact information.
• Provide proof of insurance documents (binders, certificates, policies, endorsements, ID cards).
