Please Note:
This position requires an activeProperty & Casualty Insurance License and prior insurance agencyexperience. We are seeking experienced insurance professionals who canimmediately contribute to client retention, policy servicing, underwritingsupport, and exceptional customer care. Candidates without an active license orrelevant insurance experience will not be considered.
What You'll Do
As a Licensed Service Agent, you will play a vital role insupporting clients and ensuring their insurance needs are met throughoutstanding service, strong industry knowledge, and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Demonstrateactive listening, empathy, rapport building, and solutions-focused problemsolving when assisting customers.
- Createand advise on personalized insurance proposals based on client needs.
- Provideprofessional consultations regarding client service needs.
- Maintainaccurate workflow awareness and activity documentation in compliance withagency procedures.
- Processinsured policy change requests.
- Followup to verify the accuracy of endorsements processed by the carrier.
- Underwrite,rewrite, re-quote, reinstate, and cancel policies on behalf of insureds.
- Obtainunderwriting information and supporting documentation from clients onbehalf of carriers.
- Documentall client interactions within the agency management system.
- Obtainall carrier-required signatures, forms, and applications.
- Processinsured payments.
- Reviewbilling accounts with insureds.
- Updateand maintain accurate client contact information.
- Provideproof of insurance documentation, including binders, certificates,policies, endorsements, ID cards, declaration pages, and evidence ofproperty forms.
- Continuouslyexpand insurance knowledge and apply it to daily responsibilities.

- Strongknowledge of insurance products and coverages.
- Independentagency experience preferred.

- Experiencedelivering tailored client solutions and building long-term clientrelationships.
- Atrack record of driving client retention and generating multi-linereferrals.
- Proficiencywith computers and Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Theability to collaborate effectively as part of a team.
Qualifications
- ActiveProperty & Casualty Insurance License required.
- 3+years of Personal Lines, Commercial Lines, or Independent Agencyexperience strongly preferred.
- Independentagency experience preferred.
- Highschool diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experienceworking with CRM and agency management systems.
- Workingknowledge of insurance agency operations, coverages, rates, markets, andapplicable insurance laws, codes, and regulations.
- Exceptionalinterpersonal skills.
