Job summary

Sharon Green State Farm Agency in Kenner, LA seeks a full-time Licensed Insurance Sales Professional to develop leads, qualify clients, and sell auto, home, and life insurance products. You will establish relationships, assess needs, explain coverages, and process policy changes and billing questions with a customer-first approach.

The role offers base pay plus commission/bonus, PTO, life and retirement benefits, and growth opportunities within the agency. Licenses required as listed.

Qualifications

• Property & Casualty license required.
• Life & Health license required.
• Insurance sales experience and meeting sales quotas preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Develop leads, schedule appointments, identify customer needs, and market appropriate products and services.
• Establish customer relationships and follow up with customers, as needed.
• Provide prompt, accurate, and friendly customer service. Service can include responding to inquiries regarding insurance availability, eligibility, coverages, policy changes, transfers, claim submissions, and billing clarification.

Requirements

• Insurance Sales Experience/ Property & Casualty and L/H licenses preferred
• Sales experience (outside sales or inside sales representative, retail sales associate, or telemarketing) preferred
• Successful track record of meeting sales goals/quotas preferred
• Excellent communication skills - written, verbal and listening
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
• Self-motivated
• Ability to multi-task
• Ability to effectively relate to a customer
• Property & Casualty license (required)
