Job summary

HES Facilities is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician with a minimum S-1 CT license and 3–5 years of experience to join our team in Connecticut. A $5,000 sign-on bonus is offered for this full‑time role.

The position emphasizes operating and maintaining commercial HVAC systems, boilers, and related controls. Candidates must have strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work independently and with a team across multiple facilities.

Qualifications

• Five years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Proficient in troubleshooting and analyzing mechanical systems.
• Familiar with CMMS and Building Automation Systems.
• Knowledge of boiler operation and water treatment basics.

Responsibilities

• Operate and repair heating and ventilating equipment and controls as assigned.
• Perform major and routine maintenance on HVAC systems and components.
• Execute scheduled preventative maintenance and diagnostics on systems.
• Complete all work orders and document status of equipment and parts.
• Diagnose alarms and troubleshoot problems across HVAC systems.
• Calibrate and maintain related controls and BAS.
• Support other trades and participate in on‑call duties.
