Job summary

Walmart is hiring a Licensed HVAC/R Facilities Manager to lead facilities maintenance operations across a local regional market. This role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license and EPA certification, with 3-5 years in facilities leadership.

You’ll manage a team, drive preventive maintenance, and partner with Store Managers to ensure safe, efficient facilities. Expect travel around 50%+ within the region, a $5K sign-on bonus, and competitive compensation with benefits from Day

Qualifications

• Active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in your state of residence.
• EPA Universal Certification is required.
• 3-5 years of facilities management, construction management, mechanical maintenance, engineering, or related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership skills with ability to coach, motivate and develop others.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with root-cause and equipment breakdown analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting, analytics and root-cause analysis to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors when needed.
• Maintain required contractor licensing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Secure permits and coordinate inspections per codes.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
