Walmart is hiring an experienced Licensed Facilities Maintenance Operations Manager to lead HVAC/R and building maintenance across a local region. You will manage a team of technicians, drive preventive maintenance programs and partner with store managers to ensure safe, efficient facilities.

This role requires an active HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license, EPA Universal Certification, and 3–5 years of facilities leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Current HVAC/R Mechanical Contractor license in good standing.
• EPA Universal Certification.
• 3–5 years of facilities/maintenance experience in related field.
• Strong HVAC/mechanical knowledge.
• Leadership with coaching and developing others.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Experience with root-cause analysis.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and develop a team of facilities maintenance technicians.
• Oversee HVAC/R and general building maintenance across assigned locations.
• Partner with Store Managers and Facilities Services leaders to identify and resolve facility needs.
• Use reporting/analytics to improve equipment reliability and maintenance performance.
• Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed.
• Maintain contractor licensing and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Secure required permits and coordinate inspections.
• Conduct site inspections to support safety, quality and compliance standards.
