Job summary

HES Facilities in Connecticut is seeking a licensed HVAC technician (S-1) with 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience. The role requires strong troubleshooting of electrical and mechanical systems and the ability to perform maintenance, repairs, and installations on heating and ventilating equipment.

On-call duties and collaboration with other trades are expected. You will work in educational facilities, coordinate with building teams, and maintain BAS and CMMS documentation while ensuring

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; HVAC training as background.
• CT S-1 license and 3-5 years of commercial HVAC experience.
• Valid state driver's license; ability to troubleshoot mechanical/electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Perform scheduled maintenance, service, repair and installations.
• Respond to alarms and troubleshoot Building Automation Systems (BAS).
• On-call duties and assist other trades as required.
• Document work orders, parts needs and activity in CMMS.
