Job summary

HES Facilities Management is seeking a Licensed HVAC Technician to join our team in Connecticut. The role requires a CT S-1 or equivalent license with 3–5 years of commercial HVAC experience.

You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot complex systems, and ensure safe, compliant operation of boilers and HVAC equipment. Candidates must have a valid driver’s license and be proficient with CMMS and BAS.

Qualifications

• Journeyman HVAC license required in CT.
• Five years' experience in commercial HVAC.
• Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
• Knowledge of Lockout/Tagout procedures.
• Basic CMMS and BAS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Perform major and routine maintenance on heating and ventilating equipment and controls.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical systems; operate boilers and related equipment.
• Complete required documentation, work orders, and status reports; track parts and manhours.
• Assist in on-call duties and support other trades as needed.
• Maintain and calibrate heating/ventilating controls; respond to alarms and issues.
