Job summary

Jobot in Connecticut is seeking an HVAC Commercial Technician for a full-time role across Trumbull and South Windsor. You will perform maintenance, repairs, modifications and troubleshooting on centrifugal, screw, reciprocating and scroll chillers, as well as boilers and unitary HVAC equipment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years' experience with commercial systems, EPA Certification, and a clean driving record. The role offers competitive hourly pay + benefits and CT-based openings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years minimum experience working on commercial HVAC units.
• Post-secondary vocational or technical school diploma in HVAC or Refrigeration.
• Must have a clean driving record.
• Boiler and steam experience a plus.
• EPA Certified.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and preventative maintenance on chiller and boiler units' electrical and mechanical components.
• Supports equipment such as chillers, compressors, cooling towers, pumps, and boilers.
• Keeps detailed refrigeration and operation logs.
• Performs major repairs on chillers and boilers per EPA guidelines.
