Job summary

Madison Reed is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant, licensed cosmetologist, to support licensed colorists and the shift lead and learn toward promotion to a Licensed Colorist. You will help guests select the best color, perform shampooing and conditioning, and assist with blowouts and services while maintaining guest satisfaction.

The role involves assisting with consultations, products, memberships, and ensuring a clean, organized environment for a busy salon/bar setting.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state where you apply.
• Entry level experience in customer service or retail, beauty background preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills in a fast-paced retail/salon setting.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Assist in behind-the-chair services such as finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling and add-on treatments.
• Support team to drive sales, memberships, and retail goals.
• Maintain cleanliness and merchandise standards at the Hair Color Bar.
• Ensure inventory and assets are secure and properly stored.
