Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar Assistant is a training role supporting Licensed Colorists and the Shift Lead to deliver a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure. You love beauty and hair color, helping guests find the best color and executing services with perfection.

This position involves consultations, hair care products, shampooing, conditioning, blowouts, and learning to move toward promotion to Licensed Colorist while maintaining a clean, organized bar during peak times.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you apply.
• Entry level customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Strong communication and people skills for a fast-paced retail/salon.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with our values.
• Assist behind-the-chair services and perform shampooing, conditioning, styling and related tasks.
• Contribute to achieving sales goals including retail, services and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security of the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed systems, policies, and procedures.
• Support revenue growth through additional services and memberships.
