Job summary

Madison Reed Hair Color Bar is seeking a Hair Color Bar Assistant, Licensed Cosmetologist who supports Licensed Colorists and Shift Lead to deliver a seamless guest experience from arrival to departure as you learn the services and work toward your next role.

You will learn consultations, hair care products, shampooing and conditioning, blowouts, and access to the unlimited roots membership program while building relationships with guests and teammates in a busy, organized setting.

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology license in the state you are applying.
• Experience in customer service or retail is preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable operating point of sale systems.
• Fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate teamwork to deliver a guest experience aligned with company values.
• Assist in finishing services, shampooing, conditioning, styling and add-on services per guest request.
• Contribute to achieving monthly sales goals and key performance indicators such as retail and memberships.
• Maintain cleanliness, merchandising, inventory and asset security at the Hair Color Bar.
• Adhere to Madison Reed policies and procedures and system protocols.
• Help drive revenue by increasing the average service ticket and promoting memberships and subscriptions.
• Support Colorist training to grow skills and advance within Madison Reed.
