Job summary

FirstService Residential currently seeks a Community Association Manager to lead our on-site operations and coordinate cross-department collaboration with the Board of Directors to meet company objectives.

You will manage a property book of business, supervise staff, oversee vendor and construction projects, and ensure timely, within-budget delivery while maintaining compliance with Florida statutes and contractual obligations. This is a full-time exempt role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in property operations, hospitality, or construction.
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field.
• CAM certification and Florida license required.
• Strong critical thinking, problem solving, judgement and decision making.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook and Windows.
• Excellent organization, leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of Florida statutes and association documents.
• Ability to handle confidential information.

Responsibilities

• Provide management and leadership to assigned property and book of business.
• Manage the functions of a team within a property while maintaining standards of excellence.
• Act as liaison to ensure quality service and Board expectations are met.
• Maintain knowledge of the contract between the association and FirstService Residential.
• Initiate contact with new residents.
• Conduct site inspections regularly and provide recommendations.
• Oversee construction projects and ensure on-time, within-budget completion.
• Create, maintain and upload information in the portal (work orders, minutes, Monthly Management Report).
• Interview, select, hire, train and schedule staff; provide directions and resolve problems.
