Job summary

Meridio, a health benefits navigator, seeks a Licensed Benefits Enrollment Specialist (Benefit Guide) to help clients’ employees understand options and enroll accurately. You’ll meet one-on-one by phone or video, explain plans, review costs, and guide enrollment, ensuring compliance and smooth processing.

You’ll report to the Guide Team Manager. This is a remote contract role with potential to convert to full-time based on performance and business needs.

Qualifications

• Active Health and Life Insurance License in good standing.
• Experience in employee benefits or benefits enrollment.
• Ability to explain benefits in plain language and without jargon.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail and follow-through on processes.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one benefit consultations by phone or video.
• Explain medical/dental/vision/life/ disability options and voluntary benefits.
• Review costs, coverage, eligibility, networks, and prescriptions.
• Assist employees in comparing options and guiding enrollment.
• Complete enrollment applications and verify information for accuracy.
• Follow up on missing data and ensure timely, compliant enrollments.
