Job summary

Empower Mental Health is seeking a licensed Audiologist to perform VA C&P evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation for Veterans, with no patient caseload or insurance billing.

You will conduct structured audiology evaluations, use VA DBQs, and prepare concise reports in VA formats. Flexible scheduling and potential in-person opportunities are offered to fit your practice needs.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license required.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA C&P audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized audiology testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through focused, objective interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and related clinical documentation as required.
• Prepare clear, concise, and timely reports in VA-required formats.
• Provide factual, unbiased assessments without influencing outcomes.
• Complete and submit documentation within required timeframes.
• Maintain clear boundaries between evaluation and treatment.
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and confidentiality standards.
