Job summary

Empower Mental Health seeks licensed audiologists to perform VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations. This non-treatment role focuses on evaluation, testing, and documentation to support veterans’ disability benefits.

The position offers flexible scheduling, in-person opportunities, and a chance to supplement income with structured, predictable work, without ongoing patient caseload or insurance billing.

Qualifications

• Active Audiologist license.
• Au.D or equivalent degree required as listed in qualifications.
• Strong documentation and report-writing skills.
• Ability to follow structured evaluation protocols.

Responsibilities

• Conduct VA Compensation & Pension (C&P) audiology evaluations for Veterans.
• Perform structured hearing and tinnitus-related evaluations based on VA guidelines.
• Utilize Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and standardized testing protocols.
• Gather relevant history through objective interviews.
• Complete audiometric testing and related documentation.
• Prepare clear, concise reports in VA-required formats.
• Maintain objectivity and neutral reporting.
