Job summary

The University Library at UW-Whitewater is seeking a User Services Student Development & Outreach Specialist to lead the career readiness initiatives for student employees within the Library’s User Services division. The role also oversees outreach, programming, and campus/community collaborations aligned with library and university goals.

• Develops mentorship structure for career readiness of student employees.
• Collaborates with Library staff to create co-curricular library student projects.
• Trains student employees on customer service, circulation and related library activities.
• Coordinates with Library staff on training of Library student employees.
• Assists with outreach activities and partnerships with campus units.
