The University Library at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater seeks a User Services Student Development & Outreach Specialist(Library Specialist, LM031).
This full-time position provides direction and development ofcareer readiness skills for student employment across the Library’sUser Services department. The position is responsible for theoverall service and direction for the outreach efforts of theUniversity Library, including events, programming and othercampus/community collaborations in support of the Library andUniversity goals. The position coordinates the hiring andscheduling of student employees in User Services. This positioncollaborates in the supervision and training of User Services’student employees. Responsibilities also involve providing servicesat the Circulation Desk, including circulation of materials andgeneral customer service. The position works closely with andreports to the User Services Librarian.
